The Bearville Township Volunteer Fire Department is an area wide fire department covering Bearville Township 61-22 (North) and a large portion of 60-22 (30 Sections of the South part.) Bearville Township contracts to provide fire protection services to St. Louis County Unorganized Township 62-21 & 63-21 (Sections 25-36), Morcom Township (St. Louis County), Carpenter Townships 62-22(East) and 62-23 (Central) and Itasca Unorganized Townships 60-23 and 61-23. Bearville also contracts with French Township to provide fire protection services for 6 Sections of Bearville Township 60-22. Bearville Township also has a rental agreement with Carpenter Township for the use of the former State Garage building located on Hwy 1 in Carpenter Township.
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month.
